Internal Audit Officer for Qatar

VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking Internal Audit Officer for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in Qatar with the following skill set and terms and conditions.

Skill Set required:
• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CIA and/or CPA or related certifications desired.
• 5-10 years internal audit experience in Islamic financial services and/or banking setting.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and audit related computerized processes.
• Bilingual in both English and Arabic a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in depth operational, compliance and financial audits of all front, middle and back-office departments to assess accuracy and compliance with the organization’s policies and regulatory procedures.
• Assess controls at process level to evaluate whether controls exist and are working effectively through execution of tests and achievement of audit objectives.
• Review and appraise soundness and accuracy of manual and automated processes and accounting, financial and operating controls and recommend proper corrective action.
• Develop process knowledge and identify risk areas for assigned projects
• Recommend practical and cost effective measures to mitigate identified risks.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall be a direct employee of one of the leading banks in Qatar.
